When and where is the Festival?
Date: Saturday May 17th 2025
Time: doors open from 8:15 AM, event runs 9:00 AM – 18:00 PM BST
Venue: CodeNode, 10 South Pl, London, EC2M 7EB
How does the ballot work?
Enter the free ballot via Universe. 600 people will get sent their ticket via email ahead of the event. If you don’t receive an email, you are unlucky this time in getting a ticket. Tickets are drawn across the month of April 2025. Please have your ticket with its QR code ready to scan for entry into this event.
Can I watch a recording after the event?
Yes. After the event you can come back to the DSF site. All sessions will be added to the past section of the event. Please note if a speaker does not wish to be recorded the sessions will not be made available.
How do I get to the venue?
Parking – If you want to commute by car to CodeNode, NCP Finsbury Square offers an ideal parking spot. Located beneath the lawn bowls green, you’re only a short walk from CodeNode, Moorgate and Old Street. CodeNode is also serviced by a large loading bay, should you require deliveries or unloading. You can also check out Parkopedia for details of nearby parking.
Tube/Train – The nearest underground stations are Moorgate and Liverpool Street Stations. Both are on the Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City lines, Moorgate is also on the Northern Line and Liverpool Street on the Central line. Liverpool Street is also a main overland station.
To reach CodeNode from Moorgate Station, exit Moorgate Station, turn right onto Moorgate, turn right again onto South Place. Walk down on South Place until you reach number 10 on your right. In addition, Liverpool Street station is a major overland train station connecting CodeNode directly with the outer London regions and rest of the UK.
Bicycle – For cyclists there is a Santander Cycles Hire docking station just outside our venue on South Place.
What type of session can I expect to see?
There are a mixture of talks featured at our festival. Covering all things data (science, engineering, etc) and a variety of technical levels. You can view last years playlist on YouTube here to get an idea of the talks at our events.

The people have been so energetic, especially with my topic, its been wonderful to experience and with such a great mixture and wealth of different diversities in the room.
There is a fantastic range of diversity in the room, including 50/50 women, which is essential as we start to build technology that serves all parts of society effectively.
