The night will begin with a tour of 3 Locks Brewing Company, getting a behind-the-scenes look at how their craft beers come to life. This will be followed by an engaging panel discussion, where industry leaders will share insights on effective recruitment strategies for early career candidates.
Then, enjoy delicious food from Honest Burgers, perfectly paired with crisp lagers, juicy IPAs, or rich porters. With relaxed networking and a DJ to round off the night, this is the perfect opportunity to connect, unwind, and get inspired!
This launch party is to celebrate the exciting new DSF Careers Day 2025, happening on Wednesday, 17th September, where innovation and talent meet. This event is the perfect opportunity for your company to engage with the next generation of tech professionals. This is an invite only event, if you get an invite you will receive an access key to register. Please note, this is not a public event. If you arrive at the venue without a ticket, we will not be able to grant you access.
What to expect
5:30 PM: Brewery Tour & Tasting – Kick off the evening with an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at 3 Locks Brewery, followed by a tasting of their exceptional craft beers.
Please note: The 3 Locks Brewing Company are kindly offering us two full tours of their brewhouse. If this is of interest, please register your interest by clicking ‘Yes’ when registering for your ticket. There are only 30 slots for these tours, which will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. These tours have two slots – 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM. If selected for the 5 PM slot, we ask that you come to the event early, so you are able to be a part of the tour. Doors to the launch party open at 5:30 PM, so please meet in reception if you are booked for the 5:00 PM tour.

For our hiring strategy, the Data Science Festival is really key. You want to build a presence in the community and also find great people so that when opportunities come up we have great people already lined up.
It helps from a recruitment perspective, we have candidates that have successfully joined from previous festivals. It’s a really nice way for all of us to feel connected to something fun, exciting, interesting and learn more as we’re doing it.
