Future Energy Associates is an energy data science consultancy tackling burning issues in the data-driven climate space. In the rapidly growing and digitising energy space, more and more organisations are waking up to the value data science can bring. From from optimisation for the wind power sector; data engineering to process 500m UK MOTs to monitor EV uptake and miles on the road; to weather satellite data for solar power forecasting, this consultancy has faced many tricky data challenges, all with the goal of making a positive impact in the fight against climate change. This talk will give an overview of some of the highlights and dive into some of the gritty bits.
