I started working with dunnhumby in 2012, during my PhD in Cognitive Science at UCL, to understand how people explore products in supermarkets. After finishing my PhD, I joined dunnhumby full-time in 2016 and since then I have worked on science for reporting tools that explain to what extent different factors (e.g. weather, promotions, etc.) drive changes in sales. Lately, I’ve been particularly interested in understanding how small independent stores (e.g. convenience stores) could share their data with one another to gain better insights and optimize their sales performance.
