Talk Title: The joy and pain of building multilingual recommendation system at the BBC News.

Bio: Jeremy is an engineering manager with a background in data and systems architecture. Before the BBC he worked for a start-up called Simulacra that built graph-based metadata systems for public sector clients, a technology that he has advocated within the BBC since joining. He’s worked across the BBC portfolio over the past ten years on data-led projects, and currently supports Magda in bringing data science solutions and ML in to the BBC Newsroom
