Li Fu is a Data Scientist specialising in Generative AI and Machine Learning, with experience driving large-scale AI adoption at one of the UK’s largest banks. She is pioneering how large language models (LLMs) are deployed, governed, and scaled in highly regulated enterprise environments. Li has led some of the bank’s most transformative AI initiatives — including the development of an LLM-driven onboarding agent that dramatically reduces customer screening time, and the design of a comprehensive evaluation framework for assessing LLM performance in production. Her work has been widely recognised, and she was named a winner of the TechWomen100 Awards 2025 for her outstanding contributions to the field.
Beyond her day-to-day work, Li co-leads a 200+ member women-in-data network and co-founded the London Data Engineering Group, where she helps advance industry conversations on enterprise AI adoption, agentic systems, and responsible machine learning.
