For our hiring strategy, the Data Science Festival is really key. You want to build a presence in the community and also find great people so that when opportunities come up we have great people already lined up.

Thank you very much for being my mentor throughout this DSF mentoring programme. These past few weeks where we have had group and 1-to-1 online sessions have been very helpful, in terms of the advice you have given based on your own experiences and journey. I particularly found the networking with other students within my group to be very valuable, as I got to learn more about how other individuals are approaching their careers and what extra-curricular things they are doing as well. Overall, I am happy to have taken part in this mentorship as your mentee and I look forward to taking part in more opportunities like this in the future.

I went through the DSF mentorship programme at a critical juncture of my career when I was changing fields from academia to data science. Being able to discuss all aspects of this transition with my mentor was a godsend opportunity.
