Figuring out what kind of work really suits you isn’t always straightforward. In this talk, I’ll share my own journey of finding a role that felt like the right fit. What helped me most along the way were two things: curiosity and empathy.

Instead of focusing on job titles, I started asking different questions like, “What problem can I help solve?” I began to see that every job exists to solve a particular problem, whether it’s a project manager keeping things on track, a consultant setting things up, or an analyst making sense of the data.

I’ll talk about how trying to understand what people really need, even when they’re not sure how to say it, helped me find where I could contribute best. I hope to give some ideas for those who are trying to explore their fit into a role.
