Nowadays many organisations deal with huge amounts of text data, such as customers review, tweets, newsletters, emails, etc. Natural Language Processing is the art of extracting useful information from these new data sources. During this hour we’ll first give you a brief introduction to what NLP is, and then we’ll introduce 2 different ways to approach NLP analysis: the most traditional Word Embedding, with examples of pre-processing steps needed to set this up, the recent finding of attention mechanism and the most known models built from it (Bert, XLNet, Albert…) We’ll then conclude by giving you some on hands examples on the most common application for NLP.
