With a love for all things data & tech, Adrian is a Software Engineer at EDF Energy. Adrian’s tech career started at EDF through the comprehensive Data and Tech Graduate scheme, he has worked as a Jr. Data Scientist, Jr. Software Engineer, Jr. DevOps Engineer, Jr. Data Engineer, and now a Software Engineer; certainly covering all bases in the world of tech. Adrian holds two quantitative degrees in chemical engineering, a Quantic MBA, and is certified in Solutions Architecture, Terraform, Tableau and more. He often runs tech workshops, a meetup group, and is a tech writer on Medium for various publications from Towards Data Science to Geek Culture.
With a comprehensive tech stack and ample knowledge in data, currently, he is in the core software engineering team in Wholesale Market Services (WMS). WMS is the glue between the generation of electricity, and providing energy to our customers in trading energy through the market. Adrian is responsible for developing and maintaining various tools/applications within WMS. He is also responsible for a part of the data strategy at WMS so they can be more data driven as a business.
