Dr Torty Sivill is co-founder and CTO of Decima2. She has a PhD in Explainable AI from the University of Bristol where she published research at top machine learning venues and won scholarships from G-Research and the Alan Turing Institute. Torty is passionate about scientific communication and demystifying the tech industry. She is a prolific speaker, with invited talks at venues including AI UK, the Jean Golding Institute and LV insurance. Since obtaining her PhD, Torty has continued within AI education and is a tutor for Cambridge Spark where she communicates machine learning concepts to adults with no existing technical background. At Decima2, Torty has recently been awarded a grant from Women Tech EU for pioneering AI innovation and is converting her academic expertise into explainable AI tools for businesses with the hope of making AI more trustworthy for all.
