Greg Kantor is a research data scientist working at dunnhumby, based in London where he is part of the Media Research Data Science team. He has been at dunnhumby since 2023, currently working on projects involving cutting edge research on applications of Graph Neural Networks to customer purchasing propensities. Greg holds a master’s degree in theoretical physics from King’s College London and a master’s degree in applied mathematics from the University of Cambridge. Before joining dunnhumby, he was a researcher in string theory and black holes at Queen Mary University of London, where he published several articles which were featured in many leading academic journals. He was awarded a PhD for his thesis on “Exact and Numerical Methods in (Super)Conformal Field Theories”.
