Thomas studied biochemistry at Cardiff University, graduating with an integrated master’s. His research engineered bacteria to assemble biomaterials for use in construction, with the aim of storing captured carbon dioxide over the long term.
He joined Digital Futures in January 2026 as part of the first Frontier AI cohort, taking the build pathway. He is now an AI Adoption Manager at a global bank, working with teams to move AI from pilot into everyday practice.
Athletics has been part of Thomas’s life since he was eight. He still competes, and now coaches alongside it.
