Thank you very much for being my mentor throughout this DSF mentoring programme. These past few weeks where we have had group and 1-to-1 online sessions have been very helpful, in terms of the advice you have given based on your own experiences and journey. I particularly found the networking with other students within my group to be very valuable, as I got to learn more about how other individuals are approaching their careers and what extra-curricular things they are doing as well. Overall, I am happy to have taken part in this mentorship as your mentee and I look forward to taking part in more opportunities like this in the future.

I went through the DSF mentorship programme at a critical juncture of my career when I was changing fields from academia to data science. Being able to discuss all aspects of this transition with my mentor was a godsend opportunity. I’ve learnt a great deal in this programme and am ready to start my new job with a much higher level of confidence.

It’s important for sponsors to come to events like this because we get to meet a very diverse new breed of people coming onto the market. There are lots of new talent, new skills, returners and people who have taken a career break from work. We also get to have a diverse portfolio of people applying to the roles that we have open right now.
