My favourite thing about Data Science Festival is the diversity and equality and equity we have in the community. Its actually one of the only tech events I’ve been to where there is a queue for the women’s bathroom and that just really shows how true the diversity that we have here at the Data Science Festival is.

It helps from a recruitment perspective, we have candidates that have successfully joined from previous festivals. It’s a really nice way for all of us to feel connected to something fun, exciting, interesting and learn more as we’re doing it.
